Based on Gadigal land, Sydney, painter Madison Baird explores the emotional landscapes of our internal worlds and the reprieve we find in nature. Working across bush landscapes, figurative works, and still life, she observes how our environments shape us, and how our inner worlds, in turn, mirror and respond to these surroundings.
